| Day 2 | Once in a life
time After a full buffet breakfast at the hotel, departure at 0930 for the ancient Greco Roman city of Jerash, visit Jerash for a fully guided tour, from there a short drive through the pine forest and the groves to the mighty Saracen castle of Ajloun, where a typical middle eastern lunch will be served by the hotel, during lunch, a local musician from the town will play haunting tunes on a man-made flute, while a local woman bakes the typical taboun bread. After lunch, return to the hotel for a small rest, then around 0500 PM a short drive through the old city of Amman, to Al Mahana train station, the group will board the original Lawrence of Arabia steam train and ride through the outskirts of Amman to Jiza, one of the old Ottoman stations along the Hijaz railway. On the way to Jiza, a surprise mock attack will be staged by a group of Bedouins riding their pure-bred Arabian stallions, forcing the train to a sudden stop. Some of the passengers will be "kidnapped", while the rest will be invited to a Bedouin tent for mint tea, cardamon coffee and Arabic sweets. Dinner will be served on the platform of the Jiza station, catered by the hotel, return to the hotel O/N. |

| Day 3 | The Rose Red
Adventure After the buffet breakfast, departure to Petra at 0730 AM. On arrival a full visit of Petra on a horseback ride through the Siq, then the treasury, this followed by a walk through the heart of this fascinating and most mystical Nabatean capital. Back to the coaches, the group will cross the desert highway to the famous Wadi Rum, which Lawrence of Arabia, immortalized earlier this century. A huge Bedouin tent will be erected and the chefs of the hotel will prepare and serve a delicious buffet dinner under the stars with Arabic music and a Belly dancer. The group will spend the night in Wadi Rum and awaken to a splendid buffet sunrise breakfast, then the group will depart to Aqaba for sun and fun. |
